The Saints were handed a fifth straight loss as New Orleans fell to the Denver Broncos 33-10 on Thursday Night Football at the Caesars Superdome.
Spencer Rattler completed 25-of-35 passes for 172 yards in his second career start.
He was replaced by Jake Haener on the team's last drive, who went on to throw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Cedrick Wilson Jr. with just over a minute remaining. Wilson led the team with six receptions for 57 yards and the TD.
The Saints have now lost five in-a-row and sit third in the NFC South at 2-5. They will visit the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 8.
