The Pelicans are closing in on their season opener as New Orleans hosts the Chicago Bulls tomorrow night at the Smoothie King Center.
The team went 1-3 in the preseason play.
In roster news, the Pels re-signed Trey Murphy, III to a four-year, $112 million rookie contract extension. Murphy averaged 14.8 points and 4.9 rebounds in 57 games played last season.
New Orleans also claimed guard Brandon Boston Jr. off waivers.
