Report: Saints Hire Eagles' Kellen Moore As Head Coach

The Saints have found their next head coach.

ESPN reports that Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore is expected to take the job barring any "unexpected" developments. He's been the top candidate for the vacant job since completing a pair of interviews with the team last month.

Brees made the comments on Friday while speaking to the media covering the Super Bowl in New Orleans.

New Orleans fired Dennis Allen during the regular season and special teams coach Darren Rizzi filled in on an interim basis.

Moore has no previous head coaching experience but has enjoyed success as a play-caller and oversaw an Eagles attack that ranked eighth in the NFL in total offense this season.
