The 2025 French Quarter Fest will be cashless when it starts on Thursday of this week.
The 43rd annual festival will feature more than 20 stages, 300 local musical acts, and 70 food vendors.
The Steamboat Natchez is celebrating its 50th anniversary, to be marked by a Jazz Brunch on Saturday.
The festival will be completely cashless this year. People who show up with cash can exchange it for a preloaded RFID card that's ready to tap and swipe.
The French Quarter Fest continues through Sunday.
