Two teenage boys are recovering after they were shot at the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival over the weekend.
Tangipahoa Parish deputies and Ponchatoula police responded around 9:30 p.m. Saturday to a report of the shooting near the festival's ticket booth. They found one victim who had been shot in the abdomen, and the other had suffered a graze wound.
Both victims were hospitalized in stable condition, and the festival closed early.
The festival was open on Sunday with deputies and officers patrolling the festival grounds.
