The Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans is naming the two finalists to replace executive director Ghassan Korban.
Bethany Bezak is the director of the Transportation Department in San Diego. Randy Hayman is the commissioner and CEO of the Philadelphia Water Department.
The utility says the two finalists were selected from among 68 applicants and nine semifinalists.
Following a series of interviews, the hiring decision is expected by the end of the month.
In February, Korban announced his resignation, effective May 2.
