The Archdiocese of New Orleans is looking to sell more than a dozen apartment buildings it owns in the metro area.
The buildings mostly house seniors and low-income tenants who depend on federal rental assistance.
Archbishop Gregory Aymond said on Thursday that they're looking for buyers who will keep the agreement with HUD to provide low-income housing.
The archdiocese entered bankruptcy proceedings five years ago as it works to settle hundreds of clergy sex abuse lawsuits.
