The state has attracted more than $63 billion in outside investment since Gov. Jeff Landry took office, according to Louisiana Economic Development Secretary Susan Bourgeois.
The investments include the Meta AI data center in Northeast Louisiana and a Hyundai steel plant in Donaldsonville.
Landry announced the latest investment on Tuesday, a $17 billion Australian LNG production and export facility, expected to be operational in Lake Charles by 2029.
