The New Orleans Pelicans will have the No. 7 pick in next month's NBA Draft.
The league held its draft lottery on Monday night.
The Dallas Mavericks won the draft lottery and were awarded the first overall pick for the first time in franchise history.
The Pelicans won the first overall pick in 2012 and in 2019, and were hoping for a lucky third time.
The 2025 NBA Draft is on June 25.
