A well-known building in Marrero may need to be demolished after a large fire on Wednesday.
The blaze happened at a Catholic School known as the Madonna Classroom Building that's part of the over 100 year Hope Haven campus.
Firefighters say no injuries were reported as the building was vacant when the fire happened.
A structural engineer will now determine if it is safe for the building to continue standing or if it needs to be taken down.
