A ferry in Plaquemines Parish is out of commission.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation says the Belle Chasse to Scarsdale ferry has mechanical problems and is out of service until further notice. Until repairs are made, the Pointe à la Hache ferry will run from 5 a.m. until 10 p.m.
It is unclear how long it will take to fix the second ferry.
