A new animal shelter is opening in New Orleans this week.
Animal Rescue New Orleans is holding a ribbon cutting for their new permanent facility on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. A public open house will be held Saturday with tours from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Animal Rescue New Orleans has been rescuing and rehoming animals since 2006.
