Louisiana residents can now use the state's digital license app to board airplanes nationwide.
Gov. Jeff Landry says the Transportation and Security Administration has certified that Louisiana's LA Wallet meets federal requirements.
Louisiana residents will be able to present their LA Wallet at TSA checkpoints, federal buildings, and courthouses for the next three years.
Landry's office says TSA will review the app in 2028 to make sure it's still compliant with federal privacy and security standards.
