A new lawsuit claims New Orleans Archbishop Gregory Aymond covered up child sexual abuse by priests and deacons.
The lawsuit was filed Tuesday by attorneys representing investors who bought millions in church bond debt in 2017.
The suit names the Archdiocese of New Orleans, Aymond, Vicar General Pat Williams, and 104 church parishes and agencies as defendants.
The archdiocese says the claims brought by the plaintiffs are baseless.
