ESPN is reporting that LSU safety AJ Haulcy will miss the first half of Saturday's game at Clemson.
Haulcy transferred to LSU from the University of Houston, where he was ejected for fighting in the second half of the Cougars' 2024 season finale.
NCAA rules state that a player ejected in the second half of a game must sit on the bench in the first half of the next game, even if it's in the following season.
After Thursday's practice, LSU head coach Brian Kelly said he's still waiting to hear from the NCAA and SEC on Haulcy's status for Saturday.
