Baton Rouge rapper Boosie has a November sentencing date in a California courtroom for his federal gun possession case.

Federal prosecutors are recommending a two-year sentence for Boosie, whose real name is Torrence Hatch, followed by three years of supervised release.

San Diego police arrested Hatch in 2023 after he was caught with a gun while leaving a music video shoot.

Hatch has previous felony convictions that prohibit him from legally possessing a gun.
