Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill is joining a nationwide move to bring back the death penalty for child rapists.

Murrill is one of 20 state attorneys general calling for the U.S. Supreme Court to reverse a 2008 decision involving a Louisiana man who was sentenced to die for raping his eight-year-old stepdaughter.

The Court struck down the sentence, ruling the death penalty unconstitutional in cases where the victim doesn't die.

Murrill is calling on the high court to reverse what she refers to as a "wrong ruling."
