After a rainout over the weekend, the 8th annual New Orleans Reggae Fest has a new date - and a new purpose.

Organizers say Reggae Fest is postponed to November 14 - 15.

A number of Jamaican artists couldn't make it to New Orleans this past weekend because their flights were delayed and canceled by the approach of Hurricane Melissa.

The storm is threatening to be a bad one, so the rescheduled Reggae Fest will be a benefit for Jamaica.
