Terrebonne Parish deputies are investigating after human bones were found in Houma.
Deputies responded on Tuesday to reports of the discovery in the woods near Alma Street and Richard Drive. Detectives and crime scene investigators were called after the presence of human remains was confirmed.
So far there's no information about the dead person's identity, age, sex, or cause of death. Anybody with information about the case is asked to call Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office detectives at 985-876-2500.
