The Pelicans will be without a member of their starting lineup for at least the next week.

New Orleans forward Zion Williamson is set to miss at least 7-to-10 days because of a Grade 1 left hamstring strain. The team announced that the 25-year-old will be re-evaluated after that time frame.

Williamson leads the team with 22.8 points per game this season, but has been plagued by hamstring issues in each of the last four seasons.

Since being selected with the first overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, the two-time All-Star has played 61 or more games just twice.
