The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating after a Mandeville man reportedly shot and killed his neighbor, who was stabbing his girlfriend.
Deputies responded around 3 a.m. Monday to reports of gunshots on Richland Drive. In a front yard, they found a woman who had been stabbed and a man who had been shot dead.
A neighbor reportedly shot Shawn Quinn when he refused to stop stabbing the woman.
The woman is expected to recover. No charges have been filed against the neighbor.
