The Tigers were able to pick up a non-conference win on the diamond.
LSU beat Southeastern Louisiana 12-4 in Baton Rouge. Derek Curiel went 3-for-4 with a homer, three runs scored and two RBIs to lead the way at the plate.
Danny Lachenmayer earned the win in relief as the Tigers improved to 25-21. They remain home to host South Carolina in a three-game series beginning on Friday.
