Two Alleged Looters Arrested In N.O. East

Two alleged looters have been arrested in New Orleans East.

On Sunday, Seventh District Sergeant Charles Love apprehended two individuals who were removing tools, lawn equipment, appliances and other items from a residence in the 11000 block of Prentiss Drive. The property owner arrived on the scene and identified property that had been removed from his residence and placed on the perpetrators’ trailer.

 Sgt. Love then arrested 32-year-old Oliver Johnson and 30-year-old Rashad Brown.

Johnson and Brown have been charged with looting during a natural disaster, possession of stolen property and criminal trespass.
