The City of New Orleans will provide first aid stations along the Carnival parade routes this year.
Employees of the city's health department will man stations at the following sites:
* Orleans Avenue and N. Hennessey Street on Saturday, Feb. 25
* St. Charles Avenue and Napoleon Avenue - St. Charles Avenue and Felicity Street - and Canal Street and Carondelet. These sites will be in operation from Friday, Feb, 17 through Sunday, Feb. 19; and again from Wednesday, February 22 through Tuesday February 28.
At the first aid station at St. Charles and Napoleon, parents will be able to change diapers or breastfeed in a clean, contained environment.
