A 65-year-old bicyclist has been killed in a hit-and-run crash in Bridge City and authorities are searching for the possible vehicle involved.
The body of the victim, Bruce Mcjilton of Bridge City, was found Thursday morning along Nine Mile Point Road near U.S. Highway 90
The body was discovered shortly after 7 a.m. but it was unclear when the crash occurred.
Responding officers found Mcjilton lying next to a damaged bicycle. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Officers have identified a vehicle they believe may have been involved. It's described as a silver 2003 Honda Odyssey minivan bearing Louisiana license plate ZZR965. It should have damage to the front end.
