New Pelicans player DeMarcus Cousins is finding out a potty mouth can be expensive.
Cousins was given a $50,000 fine by the NBA Thursday for using inappropriate language toward fans on separate occasions. One happened during the Pelicans game against the Los Angeles Lakers Sunday night, and the other against the Utah Jazz in Utah on Monday.
This is the second time this season Cousins has received a $50,000 fine. In December he was ordered to pay up for behavior directed at reporters.
