Authorities are investigating the death of a man whose body was found along railroad tracks in the Riverbend area of New Orleans at around 6 a.m. on Tuesday.
The man may have been struck by a freight train that was stopped in the area near the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers facility for over two hours after the body was found along Leake Avenue at Dublin Street.
The Coroner will determine the cause of death and release the name of the man.
