Police are investigating three separate local shootings on Sunday evening that left four persons wounded.
Two females were shot in New Orleans East. One of the victims was shot in the leg and the other suffered a graze wound to the head.
The incident occurred in the 8900 block of Curran Boulevard.
A man was shot in Pontchartrain Park. The victim reportedly was shooting baskets at the park when he was summoned by a passenger in a vehicle that had pulled up and the man opened fire. There was no word on the extent of his injuries.
Shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday, a man was shot in the 900 block of Monterrey Court East in Terrytown. There was no immediate word on the nature of his injuries or condition.
