Olivia Matte, the woman who was accused of killing a man and injuring another in a violent crash on the Causeway Bridge, bonded out of jail on Friday.
The total bond was $126,000.
Matte, 26, was booked with vehicular homicide, third-offense DWI, driving on a suspended license, failure to maintain control of a vehicle and vehicular negligent injuring.
The crash, which happened Thursday over Lake Pontchartrain killed James Blackmon of Mississippi.
Matte’s blood-alcohol was almost three times the legal limit at the time of the crash, according to police.
She has a status hearing on May 8.
