The NOPD reports it has arrested 35 persons for alleged prostitution across the city since the beginning of the year.
The arrests were made by members of the department's Specialized Investigation Division.
The First and Seventh Districts also assisted in apprehending subjects during vice operations. Some of those arrested faced additional charges for having multiple outstanding warrants and drug violations.
32 women and three men have been charged. They range in age from 24 years old to 50.
