Report: GLO Airlines Ordered To Halt Flights

GLO Airlines, a New Orleans-based company that offers regional charter flights out of Louis Armstrong Airport, reportedly has been ordered to halt flight operations after Thursday.

The New Orleans Advocate reports that the order was issued after the company filed for bankruptcy protection last Sunday.

The newspaper reports that GLO fell behind on payments to the company from which it leases its planes, Corporate Flight Management, and the firm terminated GLO's contract.

GLO has been in operation since late 2015 and has offered nonstop flights to Shreveport, Little Rock, Memphis and Huntsville, Alabama.
