Confederate monuments' supporters are making their voices heard.
Thursday, they staged a rally in front of the state capitol to protest an order mandated by New Orleans Mayor Landrieu to relocate a total of four Confederate monuments from their current locations.
The protestors also showed support for several proposals in the state Senate and House that would protect all military monuments including those honoring the Confederacy.
