A Metairie man is dead after being shot by a sheriff's deputy in Alabama.
Baldwin County investigators say Jonathan Victor died Saturday morning after being shot on Friday afternoon on I-10.
Deputies were called to the scene of an accident involving a car on I-10 east of Mobile near the Florida state line. Victor got out of the disabled vehicle and was shot.
One witness claimed to have seen Victor carrying an object that looked like a firearm as he got out of his vehicle.
The deputy involved in the shooting is on administrative leave during the investigation.
