The Kings are guaranteed the opportunity to pick two of the top ten players in the June 22nd NBA Draft.
Fans cheered Tuesday when the team landed the fifth and tenth selections during the draft lottery. The Kings acquired the number ten selection as part of a trade with the New Orleans Pelicans.
This is the first time the Kings have two first-round picks in the Sacramento era, and the first time the team has moved up in the lottery since 1989.
