Mississippi Lawmaker Apologizes For Lynching Comments

A Mississippi state representative is apologizing for saying Louisiana leaders should be "lynched" for removing Confederate monuments.

State Representative Karl Oliver also compared their actions to those of Nazis.

Oliver, who says he has a passion for preserving all historical monuments, said using "lynched" in his original Facebook post was wrong.

The final Confederate monument to be removed from New Orleans was taken down Friday.
