New Orleans Airport Picks New Leader

Airport Terminal Sign

The governing board over Louis Armstrong International Airport decides on a new leader.

Kevin Dolliole, who previously led the San Antonio and St. Louis Airports is a New Orleans native with 40 years of experience.

The director's position has been vacant since Iftikhar Ahmad left last year, and pays a salary of $265,000.

The decision on who will run the airport is considered critical, with a new billion-dollar terminal about to open up.
