The Louisiana Senate says no to legislation that would have made it illegal for an employer to fire or discriminate against an employee based on sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
Senate Bill 155 would have extended the workplace discrimination laws already in place in Louisiana. That ban deals with race, color, religious beliefs and sex.
