A $50,000 reward is being offered in the case of the employee of an armored truck company shot dead while servicing an ATM machine.

The reward announcement was made yesterday by FBI agents accompanied by New Orleans Police officials and executives with the Loomis armored truck company.

On Wednesday, several Loomis employees were servicing a drive-thru ATM at a Campus Federal Credit Union Bank branch when two individuals approached. Shots were fired and one Loomis guard was hit and died later at the hospital.

Anyone who knows of details about the incident is asked to contact the FBI or New Orleans Police.
