Suspect Arrested In Upperline St. Double Shooting

New Orleans Police have arrested Quinnon Adams in a double shooting on Upperline St. Saturday.

The shooting happened around 11:37 p.m. in the rear yard of a home in the 2900 block of Upperline. Investigators say Adams produced a gun and opened fire on the two victims. One was struck in the neck, groin and thigh while the other was hit in the hip.

Adams then fled to the 2800 block of Baronne where he called police to say he had shot someone. He still had the .40-caliber Ruger allegedly used in the shooting.

Adams faces two counts of aggravated battery and illegal use of a weapon.
