NOLA Man Charged For Posing As Cop, Killing Gulf Coast Man

A New Orleans man faces murder charges in Mississippi for allegedly posing as a cop and killing a man during a traffic stop.

Christopher May is being held in the Hancock County jail where he faces several charges including capital murder and impersonating an officer.

May is accused of driving a Ford Crown Victoria with blue lights flashing when he pulled over, shot and robbed Clifford Burke on Wednesday. Burke was on his way to go fishing in Bay St. Louis.

Before he died, Burke was able to give officers a description of the fake police car leading to May's arrest.
