Louisiana State University's starting pitcher is making his prime time debut this weekend.
Right-handed ace Alex Lange will throw the first pitch Saturday night at the College World Series nighttime opener against the Seminoles of Florida State University.
Lange was drafted Monday in the first round of the MLB Draft for the Chicago Cubs.
Game time for the game in Omaha is 7:00 central on ESPN.
