Members of the New Orleans Saints organization are commenting after learning of Congressman Steve Scalise's shooting.
NOLA.com/The Times-Picayune reported Greg Bensel, the Saints' vice president of communications said everyone is proud of Scalise and are praying for his recovery.
Saints owners Tom and Gayle Benson offered their private jet to the Scalise family to fly to Washington, DC although the family ended up using a different plane.
Head Coach Sean Payton said, "obviously, our prayers are with his family and those that were involved."
