Tigers Look For Revenge In Oregon State Omaha Rematch

NCAA College World Series

LSU is looking for revenge in Omaha Friday with a win over Oregon State at the College World Series, who blasted the Tigers in a 13-1 loss Monday night.

But one win won't be enough in the double-elimination format. The Beavers have yet to lose at the CWS, while the Tigers are fighting their way to the best-of-3 CWS Finals that start Monday from the losers' bracket.

If LSU falls to Oregon State, their post-season run will be over and OSU will advance. With a win, the Tigers will force a winner-take-all game Saturday in Bracket 1.

Junior Alex Lange will be on the mound for LSU. First pitch will be thrown shortly after 2 p.m. on ESPN.
