Hammond Dairy Queen Employees Fired For Berating Deputies

Several employees of the Hammond Dairy Queen are out of work after they insulted some Tangipahoa Sheriff's deputies at the restaurant.

The restaurant posted on Facebook Monday the news of the incident and the employees' termination.

Witnesses who were in the store say everyone could hear the kitchen staff calling the officers insulting names including "pigs."

The sheriff's office has made no comment about the incident.
