A mom and a newborn are doing well after the child was born during a flight that had to be rerouted to New Orleans Saturday night.
Flight attendants and medical personnel aboard the Spirit Airlines flight from Ft. Lauderdale to Dallas helped with the birth of Cristina Penton's son Christoph Carsten Lezcano.
Yesterday, mom and her eleven-year-old daughter Lulu, who held her mom's hand during the birth, and Christoph were all doing well at Oschner Medical Center in Kenner.
