LSU's Search For Mike VII Continues

Louisiana State University is looking for a new tiger mascot.

The university's president says they hope to have Mike VII on campus by the time football season starts in September.

LSU's previous tiger died from cancer last year.  Their new habitat is expected to be completed in the next two weeks.

The first live tiger mascot was brought in 1936.

Animal rights groups have called on LSU to abandon the practice but school officials say they're working to make LSU a tiger sanctuary.
