Genesis Motors has been banned from selling its luxury vehicles in Louisiana.
The company cites word from the state's Motor Vehicle Commission as the reason why. Apparently, Hyundai Motor America, which has been selling the vehicles, was not properly licensed to sell them.
Genesis officials are looking into whether a breach of contract suit is possible. They're working to learn if their auto dealers in other states are also improperly licensed to sell.
