Louisiana is using the most energy in the nation, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
The agency announced The Pelican State topped their latest list of data compiled in 2015. The state used 912-million BTUs of energy per person.
Total energy consumption includes everything from coal, natural gas and petroleum to solar, wind and wood energy.
Alaska and North Dakota rounded out the top three states.
