Police are warning people to be cautious while walking alone in the French Quarter.
A woman was knocked unconscious and robbed yesterday as she was walking to her car in a parking garage. New Orleans Police say it happened around 4:30 a.m. on Rampart Street.
The suspect walked up to the woman from behind and hit her with an unknown object. The victim says she briefly lost consciousness and when she woke up her purse and phone were gone.
