The family of an 11-month-old Slidell boy is waiting for a bone marrow match.

Braxtyn Coffey was diagnosed with a rare immune system disease when he was four-months-old. Family and friends have been tested to no success.

The Coffey family says hundreds of people through social media have gotten tested at the national registry, bethematch.org.

Doctors say one in every 200,000 people are diagnosed with Braxtyn's disease.  The family is keeping a positive attitude and planning his first birthday in a few weeks.
